Philosophy
Sourcing from the best vineyards that keep the varietals' optimum growing conditions in mind and using minimal oak influence to showcase "a sense of place" from which the fruit is grown.
My goal with Kerloo wines is simple: to make wines that are true to their varietals. That means sourcing from the best vineyards that keep the varietals' optimum growing conditions in mind and using minimal oak influence to showcase "a sense of place" from which the fruit is grown.
I pride myself on bottling palate-challenging wines that everyday consumers aren't accustomed to drinking, like Tempranillo and Malbec. I think that's what keeps people coming back vintage after vintage. I'm committed to being an accessible winemaker and have an intimate connection to the wine. One of the greatest joys of winemaking, for me, comes through interacting with you - our customer. I believe the more you know about our process, the more you'll love Kerloo wine. If I had a preference, everyone who opens a bottle of Kerloo will have interacted with us personally.
